On Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 7:00 PM, St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral will host Light Up the Cathedral an interfaith Pride service led by LGBTQIA+ and allied faith leaders. This event culminates in a stunning rainbow lighting of the cathedral, symbolizing faith, pride, and belonging.
The Spirit of Stonewall Rally on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, serves as the official kickoff to San Diego Pride weekend. This annual advocacy event honors leaders in the LGBTQIA+ community and highlights current issues affecting the community. Keynote speaker Hailie Sahar will join other guest speakers to inspire and mobilize the community.
Community and Celebration: The Pride Parade and Festival
The highlight of San Diego Pride 2026 is the Pride Parade on Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This event attracts over 250,000 cheering supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community and is the largest single-day civic event in San Diego. The parade will march along University Avenue and Richmond Avenue showcasing the vibrant spirit of the community.
Following the parade, the San Diego Pride Festival will take place in Balboa Park on Saturday, July 18, 2026 and Sunday, July 19, 2026. Regular general admission 1-Day tickets start at $44.76 with high-school aged youth and younger admitted free, and seniors (65+) paying $15 at the box office.
