This warning indicates that hot daytime conditions with high temperatures between 88 and 98 degrees are expected, with the hottest period likely to be Friday. Warm overnight conditions will provide less relief than usual.

Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids, and limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening hours. Stay in an air-conditioned room and avoid direct sunlight. Check on relatives and neighbors, especially those who are vulnerable to heat illness.
